Well, as many of you have heard, but for the sake of those who have not, our first accomplishments at programming this radio met with only a little success. Yes, we are in but not all the way. The radio needs a firmware upgrade to allow all the memories to be programmed. And to make it so those that can be programmed don't take 15 minutes to accomplish... really, I would rather give you nothing than to give you something that bad... really... it's painful and pitiful.

I really don't want to make something that won't work after the firmware upgrades.
本当に、ファームウェアをアップデートしたら動かなくなるようなものを作りたくありません。
これはエンジニアの本音ですよね。

We were told to expect this upgrade in June. We have also heard that something is planned for August. So, just like you, we wait... but we have not stopped. We will be ready as soon as we know this radio is ready to accept data as you expect it to.

まぁ、ソフトウェア搭載機器の常で、最初の製品はバグと未実装機能があったんでしょうね。
US では、６月と８月にもファームウェアのアップデートがあるようです。
日本ではどうでしょうか。
